HISTORY OF MARTIAL ARTS -
There in no evidence as to who created martial arts and where, from the moment that man appeared on earth and became aware  of the danger, he began to create various styles of martial arts that have been influenced by people's culture, philosophy, physical characteristics and geographical position ( north or south ).Therefore we see that a martial arts system has been developed in every country. In China, for example, there is a self-defense system has named kung-fu, in Japan we find sumo, in Thailand we find Muai Thai, in Korea we find tae kwo do, and in ancient Greece there was pagration or wrestling or boxing. Karate became a system and took its current name in Okinawa from here it will pass for the first time in the beginning of the tenth century in Japan and from there it will spread throughout the world. Today there are thousands of styles they are all respectable and all have  to teach their members many useful techniques.

OKINAWA SEISHINRYOKU KARATE DO / JUTSU

Okinawa seishinryoku karate do comes from the island of Okinawa, further to the Unification of the two Okinawa schools (shorin ryu-shorei ryu).
Training is divided in three parts. The traditional part – the competitive part – seishinryoku jutsu.

The TRADITIONAL PART contains chosen elements from the  two Okinawa schools,  which have been Modified according to the seishinryoku philosophy and are taught in the old Okinawa way.

The COMPETITIVE PART is divided in two categories. KUMITE POINT –AND- KNOCKDOWN KUMITE. Both kumite types include hand strokes (punches – nudges), leg strokes ( kicks-knee hits-low kicks ) And standing battle – ground battle, without missing the karate technique.

The SEISHINRYOKU JUTSU I the martial side of seishinryoku karate do. Its aim is to immobilize / defeat The opponent in a few seconds ( in real combat conditions ).

It contains techniques  from ju jutsu-tai jutsu-aiki jutsu-kyusho jutsu-toide jutsu-tuite jutsu, but they are taught In the way suggested by SOKE SHO DAI SPIRIDON K.NASIAKOS.

Since it is a martial and not combative art, it uses the ‘’old traditional way’’ of  awards / titles ‘’MENKYO’’.

Seishinryoku jutsu has developed and has created several new self-defense programs  such as ( close quarter-Defensive tactics ) which are suitable for today's  society.

OKINAWA SEISHINRYOKU KOBUDO
Okinawa seishinryoku kobudo is a complex art which includes not only the traditional Okinawa weapons ( bo –sai-Tonfa-nunchaku-kama) but also a large variety of weapons of various combative arts such as ( jo-katana-escrima-Katana-sansetsukon ). And others.

Today, Okinawa seishinryoku holds kobudo championships, in which competitions are conducted according to the  I.O.S.K.D.K.A. regulations.

It must be clarified that Okinawa seishinruoku karate do / kobudo / jutsu are simultaneously taught. However each Technique has its own system of ranking – teaching material.
